Daniel Vines is an interdisciplinary artist from the UK/Australia, working primarily in sculpture, video and performance. His experimental practice uses the language of the sculpted human figure to consider physical, energetic and psychological states of being. With an emphasis on material engagement, his work dances at the boundaries of emotion and behaviour, embodied action and artistic expression, examining the absurdity- and oftentimes horror- of living in human skin.
